LOWVILLE - William F. "Bill" Irvin, Jr., 66, of Shady Avenue, was stricken Thursday evening and later passed away on October 3, 2024 at his home in Lowville.
Born on March 6, 1958, in Brooklyn, NY, Bill was the son of the late William F. Sr. and Rose (Esposito) Irvin of Boonville. He graduated from Adirondack High School in Boonville in 1977.
He married Shelvie M. Barker on June 12, 1982 at the Village Park in Lowville. He was a maintenance man for Lewis County Industries from 1978-1995. For over twenty years he worked at the Countryside Veterinary Clinic and most recently was working at Kraft-Heinz in Lowville.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shelvie, his mother, Rose, his two sisters, Rose Thomas and Michelle Irvin, his three brothers, Edward Irvin, James Irvin, and Patrick Irvin, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, William, and his brother, Shawn Irvin.
Bill enjoyed playing pool, video games, and loved his dogs.
Burial will be in New Bremen Rural Cemetery.
