GLENFIELD – William E. "Bigga" Darling, Jr., 55, loving father and husband, died

at his home and was pronounced at
Lewis
General
Hospital
.
Bill was born on
February 23, 1961
in Constableville the son of William E. and Joan A. Wood Darling, Sr. He graduated from
South
Lewis
Central
School
, class of 1980. Following graduation he went into the U.S. Marine Corps and served three years, and was a veteran of
Beirut
,
Lebanon
. He was honorably discharged as Lance Corporal. On
November 24, 1984
he married Lori S. Hulbert at the
Lowville
United
Methodist
Church
with Rev. Lloyd Tanner, officiating. He has worked for Fibermark-Neenah since 1993 and was currently a Back Tender.
Bill was a member of the Lowville American Legion Post #162, Lewis County Memorial Post #6912, V.F.W., he enjoyed camping and pontooning at
Delta
Lake
, hunting and fishing with his brother, Dale. Bill was a lover of animals, his two Old English Bulldogs,
Chester
and
Niles
, and his two cats, Old Cat and Young Cat.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Lori, his mother and step father, Joan and Ed Sinclair; his mother-in-law, Madalene Mackey; his two daughters, Melinda M. Darling; Shauna J. Darling and Josh Mulvaney and his daughter Harleigh Ann; two brothers, Ricky M. Darling and Wendy; Dale L. and Holly Darling; his sister, Gail E. and Phil Bowers; his in-laws, the Crouse's and Haggerty's; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is predeceased by his father, William Edward Darling, Sr., in 1989.
Please wear Flannel in remembrance of Bill, his memorial service will be held at the Callaghan Funeral Home, Port Leyden On Thursday, December 22nd at
6:00 P.M.
Calling hours will precede the service at the Callaghan Funeral Home on Thursday December 22nd, from

6:00 P.M.
A military burial will be in the spring at
Wildwood
Cemetery
