GLENFIELD- Viktoria Cobb, 85, formerly of the Odett Road, died on March 17, 2012 in Syracuse. She has been a resident of Crossings Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Minoa since June of 2011. She was born in Romania on October 18, 1926 the daughter of the late Ernest and Maria Schindler Hopp. Viky married Ira I. Cobb on November 15, 1952 in Bamberg, Germany when Ira was serving in the U.S. Army. Viktoria worked for A.M. F. in Lowville and she was a homemaker. She is life time member of Lewis County Memorial Post #6912 V.F.W. auxiliary, a member of the Lowville American Legion Post #162 auxiliary and recently reestablished her catholic faith. Surviving is her husband Ira, her three children, two daughters, Barbara E. Andrzejewski, son-in-law (Hawk) Henry Andrezejewski of Helena, Alabama, Ruth A. Brisson, Syracuse, a son and daughter-in-law, George W. and Rose Cobb of Waynesville, Missouri; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son Ira I. Cobb, Jr. and a sister Elisabeth Gotto. Calling hours for family and friends will be on Tuesday, March 20th from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the funeral home. A memorial service will be on Wednesday, March 21st at 11:00am at the Sundquist Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Pominville, Deacon of St. Peter's Catholic Church officiating.
