Timothy D. Castelejo, age 36, passed away peacefully at his home on August 17, 2026.
Born on September 14, 1989, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, he was the son of Wendy Tomkiewicz and the late Joseph A. Castelejo. Timothy had a deep passion for cars, especially Honda Civics, and shared a love for Porsches with his daughter. He enjoyed working on cars with his brother and was instrumental in helping him launch his automotive business. He also took his nephew, Draven, under his wing during Draven’s father’s deployments, teaching him how to fix bicycles and inspiring him to become a mechanic. Timothy loved listening to music, taking joy rides, and attending school events with his goddaughter, Hayley. Above all, his daughter was the center of his universe.
He is survived by his mother, Wendy (Frank) Tomkiewicz of Maine; his daughter, Desiree Castelejo; his sister, Bobbi Anne, and her husband Raymond Cabral; his brother, Joseph, and his wife Nicole Castelejo of Massachusetts, and his stepfamily, Gabriel, Shelby, and Frankie Tomkiewicz, along with their families and children. He is also survived by his nephew, Draven Cabral & family; his goddaughters, Hayley Cabral (and fiancé Grady Helmer), Kenzie, Keagan, and Keira Castelejo, Hannah W. and Clayton B., his maternal grandmother, Carol Cornell; his paternal aunt, Barbara A. Mello; his maternal aunt and godmother, Candy Alfonzo; and many beloved cousins and friends.
Timothy was predeceased by his father, Joseph; his ex-fiancée, Paige Burell; and his paternal grandmother, Gloria.
Services will be held privately by the family, and he will be laid to rest alongside his father, Joseph.
