LOWVILLE - Thomas J. Percoski, 87, of Clinton Street died Friday, February 17, 2012 at his home under the care of Lewis County Hospice and his care givers. Mr. Percoski was born September 17, 1924 in the town of Martinsburg, the son of the late Stanley W. and Mary Konzal Percoski. Tom attended Lowville Free Academy. He married Helen E. Lewicki on October 15, 1950 at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Houseville with Rev. Victor Balcerak, officiating. Mrs. Percoski died on January 12, 2005. Tom owned and operated a dairy farm in Constableville. Tom went to work for A.M.F. and then for Kraft Foods in 1970 and retired in March of 1984. He is survived by his sister, Dolores R. Koziol of Lowville, and several nieces and nephews. His five brothers, Charles, Wenzel, Stanley, Frank, and Chester Percoski; a sister, Marie Percoski predeceased him. Tom was a communicant of St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Houseville. He enjoyed woodworking, going to car shows, polka festivals and he was proud of his Polish heritage, Nazdrowie Chtopcze Nazdrowie. A spring graveside service will be held at Lowville Rural Cemetery with Rev. Christopher Carrara officiating. There will be no calling hours.
