LOWVILLE - Summer Rayne Hellinger, 21, of Oneida, NY died on February 3, 2012 at her home. She was born in Lowville on March 9, 1990 the daughter of Randy B. and Mimi Rumble Hellinger, Sr. Summer graduated from Rome Free Academy in 2009. She attended Mohawk Valley Community College in 2010. Summer was a free spirited person with a kind heart. Her determination for life was admired by many. Summer's hobbies were four wheeling and fishing. Her love for art was drawing, body ink, tattooing, and piercings. She also had a great love for dolphins, The Golden Girls, Law and Order SVU, and gold jewelry. Surviving are her mother, Mimi Godwin, her brother and three sisters, Brock M. Hellinger, Brandy L. Hellinger, Amanda R. Burdick, and Shannon L. Hellinger; her aunts, uncles and several cousins. She is also survived by her best friend of 15 years, Ashley Black Demauro of Oneida NY, Terrell Black, of 9 years, of Utica NY. Guardian Rachael Yarchuk Carter and children of Utica NY, and many other special people who dedicated their time and love to Summer throughout her life. Summer was predeceased by her father Randy B. Hellinger, Sr., and her brother Randy B. Hellinger, Jr. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Sundquist Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Lowville Rural Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, February 7th from 6 to 8pm at the funeral home.
