TURIN – Sandra Lynn Fazekas daughter of the late Richard and Mary Lou (Mackey) Wakefield passed away on December 30, 2020 at St. Lukes Hospital, Utica, New York.

Sandra was born on September 26, 1956 in Lowville, New York. Sandra attended Lyons Falls Elementary and graduated from South Lewis Central School with the class of 1975. Sandra excelled in sports while in school. Sandra worked previously at Lally's Knitting Mill at Port Leyden for a time and was also a bartender at Wicky's in Lyons Falls.

Sandra married Steven Fazekas, Jr. on September 26, 1992. Sandra was a homemaker, loving wife. Sandra loved her cats and her dogs. Sandra loved watching movies, going for rides, and eating out. Sandra was proficient at the computer, loved computer games, talking on the phone with her friends and living life.

Sandra is predeceased by her brother Joseph Wakefield. She is survived by her husband Steven, her brother William Wakefield, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sandra's committal service will be on Tuesday, April 27th at 1:30 P.M. at  Catholic Cemetery, Port Leyden.
