WEST LOWVILLE – Rose M. Zubrzycki, 83, died peacefully at her home late Tuesday afternoon, December 17, 2019 with her family at her side.
Rose was born on January 2, 1936 in the town of Turin, the daughter of the late William and Mabel (Lee) Domser. She graduated from General Martin High School in Glenfield. Rose was united in marriage with Stanley R. Zubrzycki on June 4, 1960 at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Houseville. Together the owned and operated their farm in West Lowville retiring in 1997. Stanley died on June 23, 2008.
She is survived by her four children, Mary E.; Mark S.; John W. (Vicki); and Martin P. (Kerry); her six grandchildren, Zachary John, Alex William, Taylor Rose, Gavin Martin, Zane Mark, and Vivian Mary; her sister, Shirley Barniak; several nieces and nephews.
Rose was a communicant of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Lewis County Polish American Citizen's Club, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She loved working crossword puzzles.
Her funeral Mass will be said on Friday, December 20 th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Rev. Jay Seymour, Pastor officiating. Spring burial will be in Lowville Rural Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, December 19 th from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Sundquist Funeral Home.
Family suggest any food donations please be left at the Lewis County Marine Corps League # 754 Farney Hall after 11:30 A.M., Friday morning. The family would also like to invite everyone to a luncheon at the Marine Corps League after the funeral Mass.
