LYONS FALLS – Rebecca L. "Becky" Jarecki, 60, died late Wednesday evening, July 31st, with her family by her side at University Hospital, Syracuse.

Becky was born in Lowville on June 8, 1964, the daughter of Sharon A. (Bush) Tucker and the late Frederick A. "Fritz" Tucker. She graduated from South Lewis Central School, the Class of 1982. Becky married Peter H. Jarecki on April 20, 1985 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Glenfield, with Rev. Cotter, officiating. She was a longtime employee of P & C and Tops Grocery Stores in Lowville. Becky's last job was for the Dollar General Store in Boonville.

Becky is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Peter, her mother, Sharon, her sister and brother-in-law, Robin L. and Kevin Brown, her extended family, Aaron (Courtney) Bush, and their children, Bentley and Riley, Aaron (Stephanie) Kirk, and their children, Madeline, Torrie, and Everett, Emily Mooney (Josh), and their children, Barrett and Nash, Pat (Karleen) Salmon, and their children, Gabby, Emma, Harper, and Kara, and AJ (Valerie) Engel, and many other close family and friends.

Becky loved animals, could find her in the garden with her big hat, she enjoyed camping, traveling (North Carolina), and side by side trail riding. She was an active 3-G Fire Department Auxiliary member.

Calling hours will be on Monday, August 5th, at the Sundquist Funeral Home, from 11am to 2:00pm. Her funeral will follow at 2:00pm, with Rev. James W. Chaufty, Deacon, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

All are welcome to the 3-G Fire Hall for a luncheon following the services. Any food donations or dish to pass may be dropped off after 9:00am on Monday.
