Patricia Kinkead Paddock, 86, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2017 in her Lowville home, under the care of her family and three wonderful caregivers.

An avid outdoorswoman, she enjoyed farming, raising her six children and, later in life, overseeing the family furniture-making business (Southern Cross). Her hobbies included gardening, cross country skiing, kayaking, swimming and playing/teaching tennis.

Born on May 7, 1931 , in Westfield , NJ , she married her high school sweetheart, Harry Paddock, on July 2, 1949 . In addition to their home in Lowville, the couple had houses on Simcoe Island , Canada and on Long Island , Bahamas .

Mrs. Paddock is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Dale Cole of Lowville, Sue and Mike Maring of Lowville, Patty and Chris Jaacks of Nokomis, FL; two sons and their wives, Barry and Cheryl Paddock of Concord, NH and Jon and Maria Paddock of Boston, MA; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Harry, a son Michael Bruce, a sister Phyllis Kelley, a companion Ralph, and a son-in-law Richard Cole.

A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held in the spring.
