It is with great sadness that the family of Nancy L. Gydesen announces her passing, on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, after a long and brave battle with cancer.

Born February 27th, 1946, Nancy was predeceased by her parents George and Margaret Fair of Rochester, NY and her sister Barbara Hartford of Dunellen, FL.

Survived by her husband of 37 years and constant companion, Gyde Gydesen, her daughter, Lisa (Hemmerich) Chase of Sarasota, FL, her son Gregory Hemmerich (wife Rachel) of Lowville, NY, grandsons, Dustin Smith of Akron, NY, Dane Hemmerich of Lowville, NY, granddaughter Ella Hemmerich of Lowville, NY, and great granddaughter Raelynn Baker of Akron, NY, brothers George Fair (wife Rosemary) of Dunedin, FL and James Fair (wife Patricia) of Riverview, FL, sisters in law Thelma Poste (husband Stanley) of Lyons Falls, NY and Sa ndie Aden (husband Roy) of Lyons Falls, NY, brothers in law Donnie Gydesen (wife Nancy) and George Gydesen (wife Kathy) and many Nieces and nephews.

After retiring from Griffith Oil, Nancy enjoyed spending time with Gyde at their Florida home in Lakeland.

Her Funeral will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Forest Presbyterian Church, Lyons Falls, with interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Lyons Falls.  Calling hours are Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Sundquist Funeral Home, 7676 State St. Lowville .
