Naumburg Lane
and Karcher Estates, died on St. Patrick's Day,
Saturday, March 17, 2018
at Lewis County Residential Health Care Facility where she had resided since June of 2017.
Miss Hoch was born on
August 29, 1920
in town of
Croghan
, the daughter of the late Edward and Hazel (Miller) Hoch where she graduated from
Beaver
Falls
High School
. Myrtle was a machine operator for Climax Manufacturing in Castorland and in 1968 she became a secretary for her brother Nelson, at his business, N.L. Hoch Electric in
West Carthage
, retiring in 1986.
Myrtle made her home on
Naumburg Lane
next door to the
Beaver
Valley
United
Methodist
Church
where she was a member.
Myrtle is survived by her cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her brother, Nelson L. Hoch who died on
May 28, 1994
.
Per Myrtle's wishes, a
graveside service will be on Friday, May 11th at
9:30 A.M.
at
Naumburg
Union
Cemetery
with Rev. Tracy Cook, Pastor of the Beaver Valley
UMC
and Rev. Bruce W. Chapman, retired minister officiating.
