GLENFIELD- Michael Allen Bauer, 39, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019 in New York City.

Michael was born on November 16, 1980 in Lowville the son of Randolph A. and Margaret E. (Mandeville) Bauer. He graduated from South Lewis Central School the class of 1998, he went on to take college courses in Utica. Michael was co-partner with Jenn Baker of Vintage Soul Antiques of Watertown. He was an avid antiquer "picker" and had a vast knowledge of many aspects of antiques. He was always ready for antique shows in Round Top Texas, Florida, and Springfield, Mass. For many years he was accompanied with his Boston Terrier "Benjamin", "Beetle Boop". No road was too long or time too short for next "Road Trip".

He is survived by his parents, Randy and Maggie of Glenfield; his sister, Kate and her husband Dan Virkler of Croghan; his niece and nephews, Taylor, Peyton, and Samuel; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours for family and friends will be on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Sundquist Funeral Home where a memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Brian Catlin officiating. The Bauer family would like to invite everyone to a luncheon at the 3-G Fire hall following the service.

Michael loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and swimming. He was spontaneous, and an optimist. Michael will be missed by all.
