NEW BREMEN – Mary Ann P. Becker, 87, died peacefully on Sunday morning, February 23, 2025 at Lewis County General Hospital where she was surrounded by her loving family.

She was a communicant of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Lowville and New Bremen. Mary Ann was a member of Beaver River Memorial Post #1663 Auxiliary, and Tug Hill Quilters.

Mary Ann's favorite pastimes were quilting and scrapbooking. Upon her grandkids' graduation she presented them with a personalized quilt and a scrapbook of newspaper clippings highlighting their respective achievements. Sports are a mainstay with the Becker family and she enjoyed watching her husband, kids, grandkids and great grandchildren in action on mats, fields and courts. As a complement to these sporting contests, barbecues with family and friends in the backlawn hedge were legendary.
