COPENHAGEN - Mark R. Snyder, 56, of the Cobb Road died Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse .

Mr. Snyder was born May 2, 1960 in Lowville the son of the late Fay C. and Shirley J. (Belknap) Snyder. Mark attended school in Copenhagen . He was a 3rd generation dairy farmer on the Snyder family homestead. He loved family, farming, and hunting. Mark was recognized in 1993 by the Big Buck Club for a trophy record buck taken on the farm. He was lucky to have had a buck ever year since he was a youth.

Mark is survived by his three children, his two sons, Mark C. and his wife Sadie Snyder; Jeremy F. Snyder and his two children; his daughter, Mary J. Snyder; his light of his life, granddaughters, Hailey Jean and Amber Mae; his two sisters, Sharon M. and her husband Michael Peters, and Mary K.; he is predeceased by his sister Jane M. Snyder.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Bruce W. Chapman, retired minister officiating.
