LYONS FALLS – Kathleen Lee Rogers, 64, died Tuesday afternoon at Faxton-St. Lukes Healthcare.

Kathleen was born in Oneida on November 28, 1954 the daughter of the late William and Arlene Ruth George Trexler. She attended school at VVS in Verona . She married Daniel Morak and their marriage ended in divorce.

She married Thomas G. Rogers on August 17, 1996 in Turin with Nancy Fruin officiating. Kathleen worked at the Hilltop Diner in Martinsburg and for many years at Kraft in Lowville.

Surviving are her husband, Tom of Lyons Falls; her children, Karen (Wayne) Overton of Martinsburg; Kim Morak of Albany; Daniel (Anissa) Morak of Peyton, CO; grandchildren; Anthony (Kelsey) Overton, Amanda (Matt) Overton, Kylee Morak, Melinda (CJ) Menendez, Victoria (Jon) Lekberg, great grandchildren, Alexa Overton, Tommy Lekberg and Baby Lekberg in July; her daughter, Jean Twaits (Dave) Ciarcelluti and family of Rochester; step-mother to, Thomas, Kayla, Katlyn and families; her brothers, John (Donna) Trexler of Parish; William (Mary) Trexler of Florida; her brother-in-law, Junior Way of Sherrill; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is predeceased by her sister, Rena "Shelly" Way.

Her funeral will be on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Sundquist Funeral Home with Rev. Mr. James Chaufty, Deacon officiating. A committal service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 15th, at Calvary Cemetery, Port Leyden with Rev. Mr. James Chaufty, Deacon officiating.

Calling hours are 11:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday March 2nd at the funeral home prior to the service.

The family suggests any food donations be brought to the V.F.W in Lowville on Saturday starting at 10:00 A.M. They would like to invite everyone to a luncheon at the V.F.W following the service.
