GLENFIELD - Joyce A. Merry, 68, died on Saturday morning, December 8, 2018 at her home in under the care of Lewis County Hospice, Inc. and her family.

Mrs. Merry was born on March 7, 1950 in Watertown the daughter of the late Martin Elmer Clearo and Dorothy (Guinup) Clearo.  She was united in marriage to Lark John Merry on July 1, 1972 at the home of his aunt. When Joyce was younger she worked at Lally Manufacturing in Port Leyden. She later worked in housekeeping at Lewis County General Hospital . She and Lark made their home on Deforest Avenue . Lark died on May 20, 2014 .

Joyce loved going to BINGO, enjoyed crafts, and feeding and watching the birds.

She is survived by two her daughters, Holly and Ray Falk of Beaver Falls; and Wendy Merry of Boonville; her five grandchildren, Antonio, Chelsie, Rebecka, Joshua, and Tyler; her brother, William Clearo, and her two sisters, Wanda Szitasy, and Sharon Larkins; nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister, Nancy L. Bowen, and her two brothers, Wayne and Leland Clearo.

Joyce's wishes were to be cremated with burial in Beaches Bridge Cemetery at the convenience of her family.
