October 12, 2018
at Lewis County Residential Health Care Facility where he resided since 2015.
Mr. Bruckman was born on
June 18, 1941
in Lowville the son of the late Jacob H. and Helen A. (Schneider) Bruckman. John attended school at a one room school house in
Forest
City
, he went on to
Beaver River
High School
. He owned and operated his father's dairy farm on the
Resha Road
and also went to work for J.P. Lewis in Croghan. He retired as a machine operator for Interface Solutions in
Beaver
Falls
in 2006.
John was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and target practice. He was a member of Lowville Fish & Game Club, and Beaver River Fish & Game Club. He enjoyed having Sunday morning coffee with his nephews, Steve Martin and Jeff Bruckman.
He is survived by his sisters, Helen (Larry) Brouty of Croghan; and his twin sister, Joyce Brouty of
Beaver
Falls
; several nieces and nephews.
John is predeceased by his sisters, Mary (Robert) Martin, Shirley (Herbert) Branagan; and his brother-in-law, Richard Brouty.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held on
Wednesday, October 17, 2018
at
11:00 A.M.
at the
Apostolic
Christian
Cemetery
, State Route 812, Croghan, with ministers of the church officiating.
John's family would like to thank the nursing home 1st floor staff for their compassionate care.
