LOWVILLE - Jean R. Paul, 82, of Lowville died Monday, May 4, 2015 at Lewis County Residential Health Care Facility where she had resided since July of 2011. Ms. Paul was born April 6, 1933 in Croghan, the daughter of the late John L. and Anna Grace (Nafziger) Roggie where she attended rural school. Jean was self employed as a domestic for families in Adams, Lowville and Utica areas. She was formerly of Valley View Courts. Jean was a member of the First Mennonite Church, New Bremen. She is survived by her four sons, Ronald F., Earl H., Jack B., and Wayne O. Paul; one brother, John Roggie; her five sisters, Lena Gadbaw, Anna Rubar, Margaret Hanno, Mary (Eugene) Kloster, Elizabeth (Raymond) Larkins, three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her four sisters, Pearl Roggie, Wilhmina Fleming, Charlotte Crouse, and Barbara Augustyn. Jean believed in helping others and has donated her body to the Anatomical Gift Program at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
