LOWVILLE - James P. "Jim" Connolly, 76, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Lewis County General Hospital under the care of hospice. Jim was born on December 18, 1937 in Sag Harbor, Long Island, the son of the late John and Ellen (Koun) Connolly. Jim was a building and remodeling contractor for 45 years in Lewis and Jefferson counties. He also served in the Navy reserves and completed real estate and appraisal courses for his business. His real love was instructing skiing full and part time for 40 years. He was a certified PSIA in 1968 and ski school director for three years in the early 80's. He is survived by his two daughters, Robyn Connolly of White Plains; Kelly and her husband Robert Cossano of Warwick and Jim's grandchildren, Sierra and Cooper.
