HOLLAND PATENT – Herman Flint, 82, of the Powell Road IRA, died late Thursday evening, June 6th, under the care of his IRA home and Hospice.
Herman was born on August 21, 1941 in Lowville the son of the late Freeman L. and Julia "Janet" Green Flint. Herman was a former resident of Bradish Road IRA and Julie Harris Family Care Home, Copenhagen. Herman also participated at Lewis County Industries.
Surviving are his sister, Janet Moody, and his sister-in-law Kathleen Flint, several nieces and nephews, and his friends at Powell Road IRA. He is predeceased by his brothers, Peter W. Flint, Paul F. Flint, and Lewis F. Flint, Sr., his sisters, Diana M. (Richard) Moshier and Ann Pete.
Herman was an avid NY Yankees fan and he loved his yearly excursion and time spent with his nephew, Lewis, at his home in Virginia. Herman was a "good hearted person"
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, June 11th from 12:00 noon until 2:00pm at the Sundquist Funeral Home, with a graveside service following at Beaches Bridge Cemetery at 2:30pm, with Bruce W. Chapman, retired minister officiating.
