Obituary
LOWVILLE - The funeral service for Grace Violet Steria will be on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Croghan Mennonite Church with Rev. Milton Zehr, Rev. Keith Zehr, and Rev. Bruce Roggie officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Grace Violet Steria, wife of the late Elmer J Steria Sr., daughter of the late David and Veronica Zehr, passed away December 18, 2015 in San Diego California .
She leaves their children, Gary and wife Irene, Calvin, Roberta and husband James, Martha, Paul and wife Maryellen, Elmer Jr. and Stephen. Also, her loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Grace is survived by her three sisters, Stella, Rachel, and Florence and two brothers Henry and Sherwood. Their three sons Carl, Herbert and Gabriel and a daughter Bonnie, along with her husband preceded her in death.
Born August 19, 1925 , in New York , "Gracie" with "Dad", had many diversified interests that they shared throughout their marriage of 69 years. Because of her grace, she continually created a home where all felt welcomed and loved in both New York and California . She touched many lives with her Christian faith and left this world a better place. We'll all miss her greatly.
