LOWVILLE - Gladys Moshier, 94, of Brookside Living Community, died Sunday morning, June 9, 2024 at Lewis County General Hospital.

Gladys was born on December 23, 1929 in town of Croghan, daughter of the late Jacob and  Lena (Martin) Widrick. She attended school in Belfort, in a one room school house. She married Floyd M. Moshier on June 1, 1950 at Croghan Conservative Mennonite Church, with Rev. Lloyd Boshart, officiating. Gladys and Floyd owned and operated a dairy farm in Carthage until moving to Beaver Falls in 1979. Floyd died on Saturday, January 19, 2013.

She is predeceased by her husband, Floyd, and by her siblings, Ella (Victor) Lyndaker, Mary (Arthur) Moser, Elmer (Ruth) Widrick, Beatrice (Ernest) Moser, Ezra (Elva) Widrick, Bernard (Ruth) Widrick, infant brother, Jacob Widrick, Barbara (Michael) Moser, Hilary (Pearl) Widrick, Harold (Edith) Widrick, Kathryn (Gerald) Lyndaker, Irene (Benjamin) Yousey, Earle (Betty) Widrick, Lauretta (Aaron) Widrick, Lena (Simon) Gingerich.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Simon (Diane) Gingerich, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Gladys and Floyd were charter members of Naumburg Mennonite Church, members of Beaver Camp, and volunteers of the Agape Shoppe, Watertown. She was a Sunday school teacher and active in Riverview Ladies Aid Sewing Circle at Naumburg Church.

A viewing for family and friends will be on Thursday morning, June 13th at 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. at the Naumburg Mennonite Church. The funeral service will follow at 10:30 A.M. with Greg Widrick, Titus Mast, and Myron Roggie, Pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in Croghan Mennonite Cemetery with Evan Zehr, officiating.
