BARNES CORNERS - Eric Grace, 58, of Sherrill, died Monday, January 8, 2018 at Oneida Healthcare with his brother at his side. Eric was residing at Pexton Street IRA in Sherrill.

William Eric Grace was born on January 22, 1959 in Clarkson, the son of the Gerald E. and Suzanne Kay (Mathes) Grace. He attended local schools and special education classes. He resided with his parents in Barnes Corners and on the Bradish Road . He worked at Lewis County Industries for many years. Eric loved spending time with his family, friends and caregivers.

Eric was a member of Barnes Corners United Methodist Church .

He is survived by his mother Suzanne Redick of Bergen; his four brothers, Thomas Grace of La Plata, MD; Dan Grace of Batavia; Rodger Grace of Barnes Corners; and Stephen Grace of Syracuse; five nieces and a nephew; a great niece and nephew.

Eric is predeceased by his Father, Gerald E. Grace who died on February 9, 1977 .

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sundquist Funeral Home, Lowville, with family friend Gerald Beutel, officiating. Spring burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery , Barnes Corners.
