BRANTINGHAM - Funeral services for Emily M. Anderson, 15, will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011, at the Forest Presbyterian Church in Lyons Falls at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Naomi Kelly, pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Old Glendale Cemetery. Emily was born on May 8, 1996, in Lowville, the daughter of Randy and Sarah Joslyn Anderson. She was a 10th grade student at South Lewis Central School where she excelled in art, was a member of the Rifle and Swim teams and was President of the Class 2014. Emily played the flute and violin and enjoyed singing in the community chorus with her grandmother. At home she loved working with her grandfather in her greenhouse growing and selling produce during the summer months. Her other interests were horses and racing with the Snow Ridge Ski Team. Surviving Emily are her parents, Randy and Sarah and her brothers, Jacob and Sam; her maternal grandparents, Rev. Paul and Peggy Joslyn of Glenfield and her paternal grandparents, Fred and Janice Anderson of Boonville; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
