GLENFIELD - David T. Gudridge, 73, of Chases Lake Road died Wednesday morning, October 2, 2013 at his home. David was born April 13, 1940 in Lowville the son of the late Gerald and Peggy Ann Benton Gudridge. He married Dawn M. Hawk on February 6, 1962. The couple resided and raised their family in the Glenfield area. A proud veteran, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps from December of 1958 until he was honorable discharged in March of 1963. Surviving are his wife, Dawn, his five children, two daughters: Deborah Turck and her husband Rick of Lowville; Denise Ablan of Glenfield; three sons, David T. Jr. and Danny both of Glenfield; Duane and his companion Ali of Florida; three sisters, Dawn Petrus and her husband Steve of Copenhagen; Linda Peters and her husband Lewis of Watertown; Sharon Wilder of Rochester; a brother Kevin Gudridge of Florida; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his Grandson, Army Cpl. James D. Gudridge who died on January 6, 2008 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom; two brothers, Leon and Douglas Gudridge. Services will be private.
