GLENFIELD - David L. Burdick, 78, of State Route 12, died late Sunday evening, March 24, 2024 with his family at his side.

David was born on September 24, 1945 in Lowville the son of the late Eli Albert and Myrtle Neil (Rudd) Burdick. David attended General Martin High School. He married Linda L. Hutchins on August 19, 1972 parsonage in Port Leyden with Rev. Lawrence Hurley, officiating. David and Linda made their home on the family homestead, where he was a dairy farmer since he was a young man.

Surviving are his wife, Linda, their two sons, Mike J. (Peggy) Hutchins and Kevin D. (Bondeana) Burdick; his grandchildren, Sadara, Andrew (Brooke), MiKayla (Tanner), Tashia (Nathan), Kyle (Kaylee), and Brian; his 15 great grandchildren; his two brothers, Everett (Ann) Burdick and Albert (Darlene) Burdick; nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his son, Robert D. Burdick.

David was a 30 year member of the 3-G Fire Department, he loved spending time with his grandchildren, and taking pictures.

Calling hours for family and friends will be on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00pm at the Sundquist Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 29th at 11:00am with Wayne Arnold , Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Old Glendale Cemetery. Followin g the services all are welcome to the 3-G Fire Department for a Celebration of Life. Any food donations or covered d dish to pass, may be left off after 8:00am Friday morning at the fire hall.
