GLENFIELD – Crystal Lynn Farney, 19, died on Tuesday night, November 21, 2017 at UpState Medical University , Syracuse .

She was born on July 10, 1998 in Lowville the daughter of Wayne C. and Penny M. Stoll Farney. Crystal graduated from South Lewis Central School where she was on the swim, and track teams. She also was a cheerleader for Pop Warner Football and a Girl Scout Brownie.

On July of this year, Crystal became an activities aide at Lewis County Residential Health Care Facility. She loved animals and helping others, her final gift was being a Donor for Life, for Finger Lakes Donor Recovery.

Crystal is survived by her parents, her boy friend, Josh McBroom; her five siblings, James A. (Katie) Farney; Kevin K. Hill; Robert C. Farney; Shauna M. (Dan) Roggie; and Erica M. (Matt Nortz) Farney; her grandmother, Bessie Farney; nephews and nieces, Xavier and his sister Raven, Lillian Mae, and Lucas; aunts and uncles.

She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Robert F. and Loretta Rose Stoll, and her paternal grandfather, Clifton M. Farney.

Calling hours and memorial service will be on Tuesday, November 28th at the Sundquist Funeral Home. Calling hours will be from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. , with a memorial service at 5:00 P.M. , with Joseph Virkler, officiating. Burial will be private.
