LOWVILLE - Carol Beverly Tyner, 86, formerly of Lowville, NY died on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, in Georgia, under the care of hospice and her daughters. She was born in Syracuse, NY on January 13, 1926, the daughter of the late Leroy and Helena Mae Chapman Lewis, where she graduated from high school. Carol B. Lewis and Harold S. Tyner, Jr. were united in marriage on June 17, 1945 in Lake Placid, NY. The couple then resided on Jefferson St., in Lowville. The couple had four children and started their own clothing business. They were members of the Lowville United Methodist Church. After living in various states, the couple returned to West State St. in Lowville, where Carol worked for Drs. Ocampo and Domingo, OB/GYN, as their office manager. Mr. Tyner died on October 15, 1987. Surviving are her two daughters, Debra and Paul Olander, of Decatur, GA and Shirley and Dean Ramos of Longmont, CO and her two daughters-in-law, Betty Pine of Sodus Point, NY and Mary Ellen Tyner of Lowville, NY. Mrs. Tyner was also blessed with 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her two sons, Gary L. Tyner and Barry W. Tyner, as well as a grandson, Patrick C. Hoffman. A funeral service will be held on February 11, 2012 at 11:00am at the Lowville United Methodist Church with Rev. Beth O'Neal, pastor officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Beaches Bridge Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
