LOWVILLE – Amy S. Brodt, 36, died on Sunday, September 29, 2019 in Lowville.
Amy was born on June 10, 1983 in Watertown, the daughter of Glenn D. Brodt and Catherine Anne Caplicki, she attended Lowville Academy Central School.
She worked as a waitress following school. Amy was an artist and used her creativity and talent for her work. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, and reading. Amy had a contagious smile, was a great listener, and would offer a helping hand. She was free spirited and loved dancing and the outdoors. Her joys were her kids and the time spent with them.
Amy is survived by her children, Chantelle (Zachary) Miller; Tristain McGrath; Liam Platt; and Lily Conover; her parents, Glenn and Cathy; her two sisters, Tammy (Stephan) Allen, and Rebeka A. Caplicki; her paternal grandfather, James Brodt; her maternal grandmother, Mary Akin; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is predeceased by her brother, Glenn D. Caplicki, paternal grandmother, Gladys Strain, maternal grandfather, Joseph Akin, and her cousin, Craig Brodt.
Amy's funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th, at 3:00 P.M. at Sundquist Funeral Home, with Rev. Bruce Roggie officiating. Calling hours will precede the funeral service from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M.
